• Cut-to-size – Individually cut, these labels can be printed in basic and custom shapes with a minimum size of 2”.
• Roll – These labels are wound around a 3” core that you can attach to a label dispenser for easy application.
• Sheet – Best for creating multiple designs, sheet labels are available in basic and custom shapes. If you want to have different designs on one sheet, choose custom shapes.
• Kiss-Cut – Similar to cut-to-size, these labels are individually cut but not all the way through the backing. The printable backing allows you to print your logo along the border. Available only in custom shapes.

What Should be on a Soap Label?

Labels give customers at a glance more information about your product. They should reflect what your brand stands for and must help customers decide if your product is better than the competition. You can get creative with your soap label design with different colors, typography, and images. But your label must contain the following essential information:

Your Brand

Show your brand personality by making your logo a prominent feature in your design. Your artwork needs to be memorable and relevant to your brand, so it’s easy to remember. You can print your design in black and white or in full color.

Ingredients

Not all soaps are created the same way. According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s requirements, a product may be called a soap if it’s composed mostly of alkali salts of fatty acids. Additional synthetic ingredients may classify a product as detergent or moisturizer.

How to Use & Store

Soap labels need to include directions on how to use and store. Small labels may not have enough space for this information, but labels as big as 17” can even accommodate directions for use in the design.

Soap Label Sizes and Materials

Use soap labels in place of boxes or as wrapper seals. Pick the color, size, and shape that best suits your soap products. Soap labels are available in rectangle, circle, and oval with sizes ranging from as small as 1” x 1” to as big as 12” x 17”.

Can’t decide which material to use? We have materials that can protect your labels from oil, water, and moisture to make sure they're durable enough to last for a long time. These labels are designed to stick to any dry surface or material.

• White paper sticker: This is a non-waterproof material that’s available in gloss, matte, and high-gloss finish. If you want a material that you can write on, choose matte. For UV protection, choose high gloss.
• White vinyl sticker: This material is waterproof and is best used on soap packaging that usually gets wet (e.g., shower gels, liquid hand soaps, etc.). White vinyl is UV-resistant too.

STEP 2: Upload your soap label design or create your label design using our online design tool.

STEP 3: Submit soap label design for free proofing.

STEP 4: Proceed to checkout and choose your shipping option.

STEP 5: Wait for the free PDF proof link in your email. Review and approve the proof to start printing your project.
